Payment Security Policy:

When you place an order with IT’s Cruelty Free, we never receive any credit card details or keep any such information on our systems.
Your order is processed securely through the Paypal website.

Please Note You do not need a Paypal account to make a payment.

You can pay securely using your Credit/Debit Card. Once you have been redirected to the Paypal site simply follow the link that says ‘Don’t have a paypal account?’ below the Paypal login box. This will allow you to checkout securely through the Paypal website as a guest. You will simply need to enter your credit card details and confirm your delivery information.

Your credit card details are encrypted by PayPal’s systems, where they are automatically processed and your card charged. They are not held in clear text on any website so it is not possible for your details to be stolen during a transaction.

 


Privacy Policy:

You can visit any page on our website without giving us any personal information.

Personal information is only requested when you are registering for an account or placing an order.

IT’s Cruelty Free respect your right to privacy and we will only process personal data you provide to us in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and other applicable privacy laws.

Your personal details will always remain private and confidential. We will never pass on your personal details in any way to any other company. All data collected is for our internal use only. We do not and never will sell this information to third parties.

We do collect demographic data, so that we may provide you with a constantly improving internet experience.

By accessing, using or making purchases from this website, you are acknowledging that you have read, understand, and agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1) Privacy Policy
Please also read our Privacy Policy, which forms a part of these Terms and Conditions and governs your visit to the Site, so that you may understand our privacy practices.

2) Your personal information
By submitting your details on our website you accept that the personal information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate and current in all respects. Please see our Privacy Policy regarding the treatment of your personal information.
You can update your details through the My Account page.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for taking all reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you have reason to believe that your password has become known to somebody else, or is likely to be used in any way that is unauthorised by you, you should contact us immediately.
You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.

You can cancel your account at any time. We reserve the right to refuse service and/or terminate accounts without prior notice if you violate these Terms and Conditions or if we decide, at our sole discretion, that it would be in IT’s Cruelty Free’s best interests to do so.

3) Prices
The default currency of the Site is UK Pounds. All prices shown relate to individual product prices. You will be charged separately for delivery.

4) Product Information
We do our best to ensure that all information, descriptions, ingredients listings, photographs and prices of products appearing on the Site are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Though we aim to keep the Site as up to date as possible, all information is provided in good faith but the information including product descriptions, product sizes, product images and ingredients appearing on this Site may not always reflect the product exactly at the moment you place an order.

When you order online you will be helped through the process by simple instructions on the Site.

If you require any further information regarding your order(s) please contact us. We may not accept your order if we suspect fraudulent activity or violation of our Terms and Conditions (including our Privacy Policy). If for some other reason, we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you by email or telephone.

5) Payment
You may pay using credit/debit card. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, whether in advance or subsequent to a payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

6) Delivery
Our goods are currently shipped by the Royal Mail. If you live in most parts of the UK, you should receive the goods in 2-3 working days from purchase. However, if you live in the Highlands & Islands then delivery will take between 3-5 working days from purchase. Your parcel will only be considered missing if it fails to arrive 15 working days after the date of dispatch.

We will dispatch all orders within 1 working day.

If you would like to cancel an order please let us know as soon as possible and we will notify you whether or not this will be possible; your order may already have been shipped. If your order has been shipped our returns policy will then apply.

7) Returns Policy

We hope you will be totally satisfied with anything you buy from our website. If, for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it unopened and unused within 28 days of the date of despatch. The date the items were despatched to you will be one working day following the confirmation of payment by Paypal.

You must inspect all goods delivered to you immediately on receipt and in any event within three days of delivery.  You must within those three days of delivery notify us of any alleged defect, shortage or other shortcoming in the goods which shall otherwise be deemed to have been delivered in accordance with your order via our Contact Us page, quoting the Paypal Order number in the subject line and attach a photo of the damage.

Please ensure that all items are returned in their original packaging with their labels intact.

If you properly reject any goods which are not in accordance with the contract between us, you must nevertheless return the goods to us post-paid and in accordance with our returns procedure.

8) Returns Procedure

When returning goods, please email us via the Contact Us page, include the Paypal order number in the subject line & in the main body of text, along with your full name and reason for return. Once your email has been received we will issue a returns number along with the address to return it to. You will have 14 days from the date of this email to ensure the product is back with us.

Please wrap your parcel in its original packaging securely to avoid damage in transit back to us. We advise you to obtain a proof of posting certificate if using the Post Office.

Please note we cannot accept an item for refund if it has been damaged in transit to us. If there is damage to the product on its return to us, we will photograph and attach it to a reply to you stating why a refund cannot be issued.

9) Intellectual Property
All the content on the Site, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, data compilations, and software, and the compilation thereof (collectively, the “Content”) is the property of IT’s Cruelty Free, and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws. The Content of the Site may not be used, reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, accessed, modified, or otherwise exploited, in whole or in part, for any purpose without our prior written consent.

10) Press Articles
IT’s Cruelty Free does not accept any responsibility for claims made in the Press or in articles displayed on this website. All articles have been reproduced here as they were originally printed and written by the original publisher. Any false claims or endorsements are the responsibility of the original publisher.

11) Medical Liability
Any information provided on this site including information related to well being and health conditions is provided in good faith and should not be taken as being prescriptive. You should be aware that no one can guarantee the effects of natural remedies and anything can be dangerous if used inappropriately. IT’s Cruelty Free will not accept responsibility for any injury or illness caused by failing to take proper medical advice or not following instructions properly. Any attempt to treat a medical condition should always come under the supervision of a qualified medical professional. Whilst we seek to provide as much information as possible about a product and its suitability, you are responsible for ensuring that it is suitable for your own needs and this includes avoiding products that include ingredients you are intolerant, sensitive or may react to.

12) Complaints
If you have any complaints or wish to discuss any matter in respect of the goods please contact us.

13) Disputes
Your use of this website and any purchase by you of any goods from IT’s Cruelty Free shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

14) General
You acknowledge and agree that these Terms and Conditions, which include our Privacy Policy, constitute the complete and exclusive agreement between us concerning your use of or purchases on the Site, and supersede and govern all prior proposals, agreements, or other communications. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting the changes on the Site.
